Just look at it. ‘Tis a thing of beauty.
It doesn’t hurt that it is really a perfect nude lipstick. Perfectly peach, perfectly creamy and perfectly beautiful in it’s perfect Tom Ford packaging.
Ok I will stop gushing about Tom Ford now. But did you see that OWN Network Visionaries episode of him? Just exquisite! Ok I will actually stop now. About Tom Ford but not about lipstick.
What can I say about nude lips? In the last several years, I’ve seen nude lips transform from washed out concealer colors to creamy beiges, beige-pinks and peaches (thank goodness!). Everyone has a different skin tone and different types of nudes work for different tones. I find that peachy-beiges usually work best on me as they don’t wash me out.
Not only am I a lipstick addict, I am a nude lipstick addict. I love the way nudes lipsticks can look polished but effortless. I have so many shade of nudes that all look similar (but they’re different!) and it’s really quite ridiculous. But I can confidently say that I will be buying less nude lipsticks now that I have this in my arsenal.
If you want to try some nude lipstick shades, here are some recommendations on where to start ranging from lighter to darker. I am suggesting mostly colors from MAC only because I know their color line very well. There are plenty of wonderful shades in other lines as well (such as Tom Ford *swoon*). Darnit! I said I would stop gushing!
